The Management and Support Staff sorrowfully announce the death of Mr. Eddie James Coleman, 72,  of 3570 State Highway 215 N.,  Blair, South Carolina.  Mr. Coleman departed his life Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 15, 2015, 3:00 p.m. at  Gethsemane Baptist Church 443 99 Road, Blair, South Carolina.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing will be held  Saturday, February 14, 2015,  2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home,  270 N. Dogwood Ave. Ridgeway, South Carolina.

Mr. Eddie James “T-Boy” Coleman transitioned into eternal rest and glory on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina, surrounded by close family and friends.

“T-Boy” was born October 15, 1942 to the late Pauline A. Coleman-Feaster and Sgt. Henry White.  At an early age, he accepted Christ and joined the Old Hope Station Baptist Church of Blair, South Carolina where he served as a faithful steward until his health began to decline.

“T-Boy” graduated from McCrorey Liston High School in the Class of 1964.  Throughout his high school years, he enjoyed working within the Transportation Department as a school bus driver.  As a jack of all trades, he took pride in being able to complete maintenance repairs for his church and others who were in need in the Blair community.

“T-Boy” was employed by Cone Mill, Flour Daniels / SCE&G, and retired early from the South Carolina Housing Authority. He later went on to pursue his passion in landscaping in Indian Head, Maryland partnering with Boyd Enterprise until his health began to decline in 1992.

“T-Boy” is survived by his beloved wife, Annie Mariah Brown – Coleman;  three sons, Kinnie K. (Tawanna) Coleman of Columbia, South Carolina, Antonio D.(Gabrielle White) Coleman, and Tamarkquay A. Coleman of Blair, South Carolina; two daughters, MeOcia D. Coleman (Robin) Owens of Winnsboro, South Carolina and Mattie E. Coleman (Christopher) Burns of Blair, South Carolina; two grandsons that he raised as his very own, Victor L. Moore, Jr. and Kenneth D. Harvey, both of Sumter, South Carolina; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandson; one brother, Johnny Lee (Daisy) Feaster  and one sister,  Thelma Dawkins, both of Carlisle, South Carolina; two uncles, Julius B. Coleman of Detroit, Michigan and Roosevelt Jackson of Blair, South Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Lorena (Melvin) Royster of Bladensburg, Maryland and Gloria A. Coleman of Winnsboro, South Carolina;  devoted cousins Yvonne Coleman of Union, South Carolina,  Margaret (Eugene) Sims of Lexington, Georgia, Nathaniel E. Coleman of Chester, South Carolina, and Maxine Crosby of Blair, South Carolina all of whom were raised by their grandparents Ned and Julia Coleman.  Devoted caretakers, friends and cousins, Mary L.E. Davis, of Columbia, South Carolina,  Willie “Woody” Coleman of Brooklyn, New York, Joann D. Suber and Martha H. Harvey both of Blair, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
