The Management and Support Staff announce the death of Mrs. Judy A. Owens, 62, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.
Mrs. Owen departed her earthly life on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Palmetto Health Richland, Columbia, South Carolina.
Funeral services for Ms. Owens will be held Monday, February 12, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Shiloh Presbyterian Church, 1770 State Highway 213, Winnsboro, SC 29180. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Ms. Owens will be available for public viewing from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2018.
Judy Ann Wood Owens was born on April 3, 1955 in Winnsboro, South Carolina to the late Ruben Peter Wood and Elizabeth Lizzie Riley Wood. She peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina.
She was employed with DIVERSCO for more than 20 years. She attended Fairfield County Schools and was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church.
Judy leaves to cherish fond and loving memories three daughters: Sharon Wood, Jackie Wood and Tiffany (Michael) Anderson of Winnsboro, South Carolina; husband, Alphonso Owens; six grandchildren, Jakeisha Smith of Greensboro, North Carolina, Jerronda (Jose) Delgado of Hampton, Virginia, Shalawn McDuffie, Edward McDuffie, Na’Voris Emerson and Tobianna Gibson of Winnsboro, South Carolina. Two great-grandchildren, Cali Harris and Joi Delgado; one sister, Diane (Nathaniel) Owens of Winnsboro, South Carolina; one aunt, Dorothy Riley of Winnsboro SC; special nieces and nephews that were reared with her children, Nathaniel (Stephanie) Owens, Jr, Diane (Christopher) Crosby, Emanuel Owens and Teresa Owens; two sisters-in-law, Gloria (Moses) Hughes, Carolyn (Henry) Dorsey; three brothers-in-law, Robin (MeOcia) Owens, Michael (Sharon) Owens and Johnny (Nancy) Owens all of Winnsboro SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by four brothers, Ruben Wood, Jr., Eddie Wood, Ernest Riley and Lawrence Riley and a nephew, Stanley Owens.
