The Management and Support Staff announce the death of Mrs. Kim Cade, 57, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.
Mrs.Cade departed her earthly life Friday, January 26, 2018, at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital, Columbia, South Carolina.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cade will be held Friday, February 2, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 311 S. Vanderhorst Street, Winnsboro, SC 29180. Interment will follow in St. Matthew's Church Cemetery, White Oak Community, Winnsboro, SC. Public viewing Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Kim Bowen Cade was born in Nashville, TN on January 14, 1961. Kim was the daughter of Henry Bowen and the late Ronnie Smith Bowen. On January 26, 2018, God called her home to eternal rest.
Kim was educated in the public schools of Richland County, SC. She graduated from C.A. Johnson High School and attended Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC. She married Walker Cade on March 9, 1980.
Kim was a people person and loved working with all people. She worked for many years in the public schools in nutritional services as a lunch aide. Later, she worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken as a cashier.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her father Henry Bowen of Memphis, TN; one sister, Lois Garner of Memphis, TN; six children, Kelvin Cade of Winnsboro, SC, Troy Cade of Santee, SC, Alisha Cade Johnson of Newberry, SC, Richard Cade of Winnsboro, SC and Tiesha and Keisha Ray of Columbia, SC. She will be remembered in love by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in eternal rest by her son, Darryl Cade and brother, Kenneth Bowen.
