The Management and Support Staff of Nelson's Funeral Home Announce the death of Mrs. Mariah Womack,68,of Winnsboro, South Carolina. 

Mrs. Womack,transitioned into eternity Monday,December 11,2017,at the Medical University of Charleston, Charleston, South Carolina. 

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 15, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church 2508 Camp Welfare Road, Winnsboro, South Carolina. 

Interment will follow in the church cemetery. 

Rev. Ben Colley will officiate the service.  

Mariah Ann Bell Womack was born on November 9, 1949 in Winnsboro, SC to the late Eugene and Eula Bell, Sr. and she departed this earthly life on Monday, December 11, 2017 at MUSC in Charleston, SC. 

She attended the Public Schools of Fairfield County and she was a member of Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Ellis Womack; two daughters, Tammy Womack of Allentown, PA and Denise (Rodney) Moore of Winnsboro, SC; one adopted son, John Simmons of Winnsboro, SC; two granddaughters, Symphany Jackson and Jade Moore, both of Winnsboro, SC; five sisters, Daisy (David Starks), Ella Harrison, Lillie Caldwell, Josephine (Alexander) Cason and Dorothy (Lawrence) Craig; five brothers, Charles (Sallie) Bell, Sr., Eugene (Osie) Bell, Jr., Roger (Veronica) White, Edward (Myrtis) White and James (Karen) White; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Otis Bell, Sr. and two sisters, Beatrice Maloney and Geneva King.
