The Management and Support Staff of Nelson's Funeral Home, LLC  sadly announce the death of Rev. Timothy Jackson Boyd, 93, of Alexandria, Virginia  formally of  Winnsboro, South Carolina.

Reverend Timothy Jackson Boyd passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 from a lengthy battle with heart disease in the comfort of his home. He was surrounded by his loving family.  An amazing father, he served his church and community as Pastor, Spiritual Teacher and Prayer Warrior.  His life is a witness to his faith, love and service to God and the many lives he touched along the way.  He leaves a rich legacy as a man of integrity, honor and faithful servant leader.

Celebration of Life service for Reverend Boyd will be held at St.  Luke Baptist Church, 183 St. Luke Church Road, Winnsboro, South Carolina 29180 on Wednesday, July 26, 2017  at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be at the church 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.   Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
