To family and friends,
I am very sorry to hear of the death of your loved one.
When Jesus was on earth, his friend Lazarus died.
He was in the tomb for 4 days already when Jesus arrived.
Mary and Martha, Lazarus' sisters were grieving and Jesus gave way
to tears. Jesus compared death to sleep. He called to Lazarus and he
came back to life! You can read this wonderful true account in the Bible
at John chapter 11. Jesus demonstrated what he will do for mankind
when his kingdom government is ruling over all the earth. (Matthew 10:6)
Our dead loved ones will come back to life! (Acts 24:15)
At that time there will be no more pain or death (Revelation 21:3,4.)

We are very sorry on learning of the passing of your loved one. However, there is hope for those asleep in death. It is the hope of the resurrection back to a peaceful earth to live forever under the rulership of Jesus Christ. (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:11, 29). In the meantime, may you be comforted by kind deeds and thoughts of others, by fond memories, and by promises from the Scriptures.

sorry to hear of my friend passing away. Rob & I worked together at VCS for a lot of years and had some really good times. I'll miss all the stories he used to tell and smile he always had. I'm sorry that I can't make his funeral on Sat. May god bless you all and remember my friend is now in a better place.
