Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, not angels nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  

It is with sadness that Eddie & Jackie announce the death of Mrs. Betty Gene Mickle Jackson, 58, of Winnsboro, South Carolina. 

Mrs.  Jackson entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 15, 2018; at Fairfield Memorial Hospital Winnsboro, South Carolina.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018; 12:00 noon at Nelson's Funeral Home Chapel, 270 N. Dogwood Ave.

Interment will follow in Ross Cemetery (The Middle Six Community) Winnsboro, South Carolina. 

Public viewing will be held Friday, November 23, 2018; 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

On November 15, 2018, Mrs. Betty Gene Mickle Jackson received her call from the Lord and peacefully left her earthly home to join her heavenly father.  She was born May 2, 1960 in Fairfield County, SC to the late Robert and Gertrude Mickle and she was the adopted daughter of the Mrs. Robbie Walker and the late Mr. Pervis Walker. 

Betty was educated in the Public Schools of Richland County, SC and she was employed at Providence Hospital in Columbia, SC for many years.   She was later employed by the Fairfield County School System for over 20 years.   Betty was a loving mother, outspoken, fun and spirited person.   To know her, was to love her. 

Those left to cherish her fond memories are three children, Albert Jackson, Jr., Rachel Jackson, and Grace Walker of Winnsboro, SC; her mother, Mrs. Robbie A. Walker; two brothers, Grady Mickle of Chester, SC and Joe McKinstry of Winter Haven, FL; two adopted sisters, Shari A. Walker and Patricia A. Walker of Winnsboro, SC; and a host of other loving relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
