I think of you every day and wanted to write a message a long time ago but couldn't bring myself to do it. you will always be a part of me and in my everyday thought... you were more than a friend for the past 3 yrs at palmetto health you were like a sister to me. i read a poem at your memorial service and thought it would be great to leave in my message it is titled

If Tears Could Build A Stairway

If tears could build a stairway
and thoughts on memory lane
I'd walk right up to heaven
and bring you hoome again
No Farewell words were spoken
No time to say good-gye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God Knows why.

Our hearts are still filled with sadness
and secret tears still flow
what it meant to lose you
everyone hear knows.
But now i know you want us
to mourn for you no more
but to focus on all the happy times
Life still has in store.

Since you'll never be forgotten
I pledge to you this day
A special place within out hearts
Is where you'll always stay.

God knows why,with chilling touch,
Death gathers those we love so much
And what now seems so strange and dim
Will all be clear, when we meet Him.
Crystal, i knew you for a moment
But it Felt like a lifetime

You will forever be in my heart!!

Your dear friend/ sister Jamisula

May comfort you all. My heart aches for the girls. Crystal always smiled and just beamed when she talked about the girls. Crystal was a very pleasant sweet person to be around. I worked with Crystal, she was always willing to help or answer any questions that I had during our work time together.

Sweet girls, remember your mother loved you will all her heart.

We worked together at Palmetto Richland, and then even when she moved over to scheduling, we were in regular contact. Crystal was always such a bright, positive spirit, and I remember her saying that she was not going to let anything get her down or stress her out. She was a devoted, loving mother to her two girls, so proud of them! My heart goes out to them, and the rest of her family, on the loss of such a special, uplifting spirit! Carry on her outlook....love of life and family.

I remember the first time we met. The days we spent working together and eating out. Sharing so many stories and pictures of our daughters. The laughs and jokes of so many foolish things. Although she has left this earth, she is still in my heart. Her big smile and loud laugh I will never forget. May GOD continue to wrap his loving arms around her girls, family, and friends, with a shield of protection, comfort, and peace, just as she did. I am truly grateful to have ever meet her. You will truly be missed Miss. Queen Bee, Crystal Denise Smith!

I am sorry to hear of your loss. The death of a loved one is one of the most devastating experiences a human can face. At times, the loss can seem unbearable.
A verse in this song taken from Psalms 37:29 promises:

Soon in the grand resurrection
Sorrow will all disappear
Showering tender affection
God will dry every tear

We can live forever
It's worth all endeavor
God's promise is faithful
His word will come true

John 14:1-4 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

God has a beautiful Angel (Crystal)looking down on us right now. You will truly be missed. My heart was sadden when I heard the news, and all I could do was think of our last converstation in Wal-Mart on Killian road; how we laughed and talked about the kids. I pray for the family strength, guidance and that we seek his presence in the time of need.

Psalm 34:18 - the Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

Psalm 46-1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in the times of trouble.

Love you.. May you rest in Peace Crystal...

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God has laid you see.
I took His hand when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that peace at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Oh yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savoured much
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts, and peace to thee
God wanted me now; He set me free.

*Praying for the Smith Family,Ja'Nya, and Kennedi*

To the family and friends,
On behalf of my family, we would like to extend thoughts and prayers out to you all. For the Lord is your strength! A smile so bright, so know when you see a star shining bright, that it is her smiling and watching over you all.
2 Corinthians 5:6-8 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

May God comfort the family of our friend and classmate Crystal Smith. For many of us, our high school years were the best years of our lives; we feel blessed that Crystal distributed her happiness freely into the lives of so many. She was there when we nervously entered those halls as 9th graders, as we later proudly became the "most hype" class during pep rallies, and as we felt accomplished while walking across that stage. Over these past 12 years, we've all grown together. We have bonded greatly by being neighbors, or through daily social media updates. We enjoyed seeing her smile, and the dedication she had to being a mother, spouse, daughter, sister, and friend. She'll be forever missed, and we'll treasure her memory in our hearts forever. - C/O '02
