The Management and Support Staff of Nelson's Funeral Home, LLC announce the death of Mrs. Florence Haigler, 83, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.

Mrs. Haigler transitioned into eternity Wednesday, July 19, 2017, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. 

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 27, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at Nelson's Funeral Home Chapel. 

Interment will follow in Fairfield Community Cemetery Winnsboro, South Carolina. 

Public viewing of Mrs. Haigler will be Wednesday, July 26, 2017 beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Florence “Baby Ray” Haigler of Winnsboro, SC departed this life Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born November 14, 1933 in Fairfield County to the late Ulysses and Daisy Brown Thomas.   She attended the Public Schools of Fairfield County. 

Mrs. Haigler worked as a Nursing Assistant and she was a Domestic Worker and for many years she attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Ridgeway, SC. 

She was the widow of the late James B. Roach and the late Raeford Haigler. 

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, three daughters, Eula Roach, Willie Margaret “Sister” Roach of Winnsboro, SC and Annie “Dottie” Martin of Columbia, SC; one step-daughter, Jessie M. (Harold) Alexander; one granddaughter, Sryia Roach; five grandsons, Antonio P. Roach, Christopher D. Roach, Darius D. Roach, Andreas M. Roach and Marcus L. Roach; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one step-granddaughter, Tawanna A. Coleman; one step-grandson, Gerald Alexander; a special niece, Jeannette Belton, two loving sisters-in-law, Sylvester and Lois Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends that loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by one stepson, Walter James Haigler.
