It is heartfelt sympathy that Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson's Funeral Home announce the death of Ms. Rhonda Deanese Murphy, 55, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.
Ms. Murphy transitioned into eternity Monday, July 30, 2018 at Providence Hospital Columbia, South Carolina.
Funeral services for Ms. Murphy will be held Sunday, August 5, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Shiloh First Independent Church, 52 Kelly Miller Road, Winnsboro, South Carolina. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Ms. Murphy will be available for public viewing Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Rhonda Deanese Murphy, the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Margaree Murphy, was born on January 28, 1963 in Ridgeway, South Carolina. Rhonda departed this early life in the early morning of July 30, 2018 at Providence Heart Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. Rhonda was educated in the Fairfield County School Systems during her earlier years and later graduated from Eau Claire High School in Columbia, South Carolina.
Rhonda was one of the friendliest people that you could ever meet; she never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Rhonda was a member of Shiloh First Independent Church in Winnsboro, SC and co-owner of Winnsboro House of Barbeque.
Rhonda leaves behind to cherish her memories: a loving and caring fiancé, Ernest Zanders; three children,: Curtis (Temecko) Murphy of Columbia, SC, Melody Lawhorne of Winnsboro, SC, and Ashley (Dre) Kelly of Columbia, SC; five grandchildren: Ashanti and Kenneth McGoogan, Mykiah Murphy, Ashton Kelly and Ladrel Sampson, Jr.; four brothers, Thomas Murphy of Texas, Stanley (Brenda) Murphy of Columbia, SC, Gerald (Joyce) Murphy of Columbia, SC and John Murphy of Columbia, SC; a special aunt, Catherine Weldon of Ridgeway, SC; two bonus-sisters, Tina Middleton of Columbia, SC and Tangee Brice Jacobs of Blair, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Rhonda was preceded in death by one brother, Carnell Murphy.
