The Management(Eddie & Jackie Nelson) and the support staff of Nelson's Funeral Home, LLC announce the death of Mrs. Wanda Painter, 72, of Winnsboro, South Carolina. 

Mrs.Painter, died Friday morning, May 11, 2018, at here residence surrounded by her loving family.

Wanda Rose Painter:  
Born Jan 7,1946 to the late Harvey and Lillie Mae Snow. 
Wanda’s passion in life was helping others which lead her to serving 40 years as an elementary school teacher and helping the community by running the local food bank. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church Winnsboro, South Carolina where she will be missed.
 
Wanda’s true love in life was her husband Harold whom she was married to for an amazing 48 years. She was a wonderful mother and  grandmother to two loving daughters, and two grandsons. She was a teacher, mentor, and friend to many.
 
She is survived by her husband Harold Painter, two daughters Nancy Hefner (Keith Hefner) and Lori Painter (Ben Carmichael), Grandsons Michael Gomez and Steven Griffin  a sister Julie(Richard)Tucker,and a host of loving nieces ,nephews, and friends, who will miss her dearly.

A viewing will be held Saturday May 12,2018 at ​Nelson's Funeral Home, 270 N. Dogwood Ave. Ridgeway, South Carolina from 6:00 to 8:00, followed by a ​celebration of Wanda’s life on Monday May 14, at  First Baptist Church, 1373 Newberry Road Winnsboro, South Carolina at 5:00 p.m.
She will truly be missed.
