The management (Eddie & Jackie Nelson) sadly announce the passing of Athony Scott Simpson, 59, of Great Falls, South Carolina. Mr. Simpson transitioned Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

Anthony was a man of simple joys and big laughter, someone who could brighten any room with a joke and make even the toughest days fell a little lighter. A lifelong lover of the outdoors, Anthony found peace in fishing- whether it was the thrill of the catch or just the quiet moments on the water. He was an avid football fan, always cheering on his team with passion.

He leaves a family who loved him dearly and a circle of friends who will miss him.

 Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Nelson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 2906 Hope Road, Winnsboro, South Carolina.  
 

A public walk-through viewing will be held Monday, February, 17, 2025, 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. only.
