Barbara Murphy Williams was born on September 3, 1956 in Lugoff, SC to the late Paul and Maggie Murphy. She passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 17, 2022 of an unexpected illness. Barbara was known for her soft-spoken voice and kind heart. She was a wonderful caring mother, sister, and friend. Barbara spent the last few years driving a school bus for the Kershaw County School District. The children brought her joy and laughter daily.
She is survived by her daughter, Chasidy Murphy of Texas; one brother, Paul (Sharon) Murphy of Alabama; two sisters, Cynthia Nelson and Pamela (Dallas) Hudson of Lugoff, SC. She was loved by her nieces and nephews: Melody Nelson, Kevin Nelson, Brittany Hudson, Brandon Hudson, Shane Murphy, Seth Murphy and Brianna Murphy.
