The loss of a loved one is a heart- wrenching experience. We, the management (Eddie & Jackie Nelson) and the support staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sadly announce the passing of Mrs. Betty Portee, 75, of Elgin, South Carolina. Mrs. Portee entered eternity Friday, January 12, 2024. 

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Sutton Branch Baptist Church, 420 Sutton Branch Road Lugoff, SC 29078.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

A public walk though viewing will be held Wednesday, 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
