The management (Eddie & Jackie Nelson) and the support staff of Nelson's Funeral Home sadly announce the passing of Charles E. Williams, 78, of Columbia, South Carolina. Mr. Williams passed Friday, March 14, 2025. 

Charles was a proud veteran of the United States Army, dedicating his life to serving his country with honor. Beyond his military services, he found great joy in the simple pleasures of life- his meticulously maintained yard, the smooth sounds of jazz and the uplifting spirit of gospel music.

A true car enthusiast, Charles had an undeniable love for corvettes and cherished every moment spent at car shows, admiring the craftsmanship of fellow camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts.

Public viewing will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
