We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.

It is with deepest sympathy that Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sadly announce the passing of Mr. Charlie McClendon, 64, of Columbia, South Carolina. 

Mr. McClendon transitioned into eternity Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at Prisma Richland.

Mr.  McClendon is the son of the late  Mr. Pat and Almeta Murphy McClendon.  

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020, 11:00 a.m., at the portico of Nelson's Funeral Home, 270 N. Dogwood Ave. Ridgeway, South Carolina.
