We are privileged to serve those who desire our services during their time of need.  We take the safety and health of your family very seriously.  We always strive to exceed the expectations for every family, and will continue to do so during these challenging days ahead. We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.

With mixed emotions and broken hearts, it is with sadness that the management Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sympathetically announce the passing of Mrs. Christine “Chris” Harrold Ricks, 90 of Bogota, NJ. Formerly of Ridgeway, South Carolina.

Mrs. Ricks transitioned into eternity Sunday, December 20, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2020, 3:00 p.m., at Nelson's Funeral Home Chapel, 270 North Dogwood Ave. Ridgeway, South Carolina. A public walk through viewing (only) will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020, 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Nelson's Funeral Home, 270 N. Dogwood Ave. Ridgeway, South Carolina.  Temperature  checks will be administered by the staff of Nelson's Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Sutton Branch Baptist Church cemetery Lugoff, South Carolina.
