We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.

 It is with great sadness that Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sympathetically announce the passing of Mrs. Daisy Harris Portee 95, of Blythewood, South Carolina.

Mrs. Portee transitioned into eternity Monday, June 20, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving and devoted Family.

Funeral services for Mrs. Portee will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Word of Victory Baptist Church, 731 Grover Wilson Road, Ridgeway, SC.  Interment will follow in the Sutton Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, 420 Sutton Branch Road, Lugoff, SC. 

A public walk-thru viewing will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
