The Management (Eddie & Jackie Nelson) sadly announce the passing of Deacon Major Loynes Jr., 85, of Ridgeway, South Carolina. He transitioned into eternity Thursday, February 20, 2025.

A devoted man of faith, he loved his church and found great joy in serving as a deacon, always offering kindness and wisdom to those around him. Known for his sharp sense of style, Major took pride in always being well- dressed, presenting himself with dignity and grace. 

He had a natural gift for bringing laughter into any room with his jokes and warm personality. His love for his family was evident in everything he did.  An avid mechanic at heart, he found peace in fixing cars, using his hands to repair and restore with patience and skill.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, 1145 Old Windmill Road, Ridgeway, South Carolina.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. 

A public viewing will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, 5:30 until 7:00 p.m.
