Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the dedicated support staff of Nelson's Funeral Home announce the passing of Mr. Donald Lee Wood 75, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.  Mr. Wood passed Monday, June 15, 2026. Mr. Wood will be deeply missed by loving wife and beloved family.

Mr. Wood was a former manager for the Town of Winnsboro, South Carolina.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026, 1:00 p.m. at Nelson's Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Fairfield Memorial Cemetery, 2363 Smallstown Road Winnsboro, South Carolina 29180.   

Public viewing/visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Because Donald loved flowers, they are appreciated and may be sent to the funeral home.  Donations may be made in memory of Donald Lee Wood to the Fairfield County Animal Shelter, 1678 Hwy 321 Business North, PO Box 60, Winnsboro, SC 29180 in memory of all the cats and dogs that preceded him into thee next life.
