The management (Eddie & Jackie Nelson) and the dedicated support staff of Nelson's Funeral Home sadly announce the passing of Mr. Dwauta Nelson, 49, of Ridgeway, South Carolina.

Dwauta was a beloved chef who shared his passion for food with everyone he met. He was a man of warmth, creativity, and love. The family asks for your prayers as they navigate this difficult time. 

Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 27, 2026, 12:00 noon at Rehoboth Baptist Church, 4646 Hardscrabble Road, Columbia, South Carolina.  Interment will follow in the original Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery Ridgeway, South Carolina.

Public viewing will be held Sunday, April 26, 2026, 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 P.M. at Nelson's Funeral Home.
