The management (Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the support staff of Nelson's Funeral Home sadly announce the passing of Mr. Eddie Belton, 70, of Columbia, South Carolina. 

Mr. Belton was a man of gentle spirit and joyful heart. Eddie will be remembered for the love he shared and the simple pleasures that brought him happiness.

Eddie had a deep love for the outdoors. He found peace in fishing and joy in bird watching. Spending countless quite hours soaking in nature's beauty. But his greatest joy in life was his family- especially his beloved grandchildren, whether playing with them, telling stories, or simply enjoying their laughter, Eddie's bond with is grandchildren was one of the most treasured parts of his life.

A fan of classic Westerns, he spent many afternoons reliving the tales of cowboys and pioneers stories that spoke to his appreciation for loyalty, grit, and old-fashioned values.

He leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and simple joys lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, June 27, 2025, 12:00 noon. at Nelson's Funeral Home Chapel, 270 North Dogwood Ave. Ridgeway, South Carolina.
