The management Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the support staff of Nelson's Funeral Home announce the passing of Ms. Elyse Prioleau,40, of Ridgeway, South Carolina.  Ms. Prioleau transitioned into eternity Wednesday, December 18, 2024. 

Mrs. Elyse S. Prioleau, affectionately called “EE,” was born on June 20 1984 in Richland County to Willie I. Prioleau and the late Denise C. Prioleau. She departed this earthly life on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC.

Elyse was a loving soul bringing joy, light, and laughter to every room she entered.  Her genuine care for others was always evident whether offering a listening ear or lending a helping hand. Her unwavering authenticity will be deeply missed, but her free spirit will live on.

EE was educated in the Fairfield County Public Schools, where she became the first certified female welder in Fairfield County. She was also a member of the Fairfield Central High School Marching Band.

EE is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Rodney Walker; her daughter, Niya Walker; her father, Willie I. Prioleau, and her sisters all of Ridgeway, South Carolina.  EE also leaves to cherish her memories nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, her special friend, Sergio Hudson; and a host of other relatives, family, and friends.

EE is preceded in death by her mother, Denise C. Prioleau.

At the family's request, there will be no service.
