Esther Margaret (Gibson) Brown

“Little did we know, the day that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home”.

With broken hearts and sincere sympathy, we the management Eddie and Jackie Nelson and the support staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home announce the passing of Mrs. Esther Brown, 91, of Ridgeway, South Carolina.   

Mrs. Brown departed this earthly life into eternity early Sunday morning September 3, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her devoted, loving, and caring family, to whom we lift up in prayer. 

Mrs. Brown was affectionately known in her community as (Mrs. Sue Bee Brown).

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023, 3:00 p.m. at Rock Hill Baptist Church, 1060 Shivers Green Road, Ridgeway, South Carolina 29130.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.   

Public Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. 

NO public viewing will be held at the funeral home.
