We are privileged to serve those who desire our services during their time of need.  We take the safety and health of your family very seriously.  We always strive to exceed the expectations for every family, and will continue to do so during these challenging days ahead. We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.

The management Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sympathetically announce the passing of Mr. Gary Dixon, 87, of Elgin, South Carolina. 

Mr. Dixon transitioned into eternity late Thursday night, July 23, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. 

The family will be receiving friends at the residence from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 P.M., please respect the family wishes.  

Graveside Services for Mr. Gary Dixon will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2020,11:00 a.m. at Fort Clack Baptist Church Cemetery, 421 Veterans Row, Elgin, South Carolina. 

Public (walk thru only) viewing will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2020, 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Only.  

Due to Covid19, public viewing (walk thru only) a maximum of (10) individuals will be allowed in the funeral home at a time. Staff members will administer temperature checks.
