The management (Eddie & Jackie Nelson) and the dedicated support staff of Nelson's Funeral Home we are sadden to announce the passing of Mrs. Georgia Levern Harris.

Ms. Georgia  Levern Harris, 59, of Winnsboro, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Ms. Harris was an independent Paparazzi Jewelry consultant, where she enjoyed connecting with others and sharing her passion for fashion and accessories. She was a devoted member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, cherishing the bonds of sisterhood and community service.

A dedicated elementary education teacher, Ms. Harris had a lifelong love for education and was committed to nurturing and inspiring young minds throughout her career.

She found her greatest joy in her family, especially her beloved children and grandchildren, who were the center of her life. She also loved traveling and creating lasting memories with those she loved.

Ms. Harris was the beloved wife of Elder Dr. James Harris Jr. 

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026, 12:00 noon at The United House of Prayer for All People, 220 US Highway 321 Bypass South, Winnsboro, South Carolina 29180. 

Public viewing will be held Friday, July 10, 2026, 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. 

The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority ceremony will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Nelson's Funeral Home Chapel, 270 N. Dogwood Ave. Ridgeway, South Carolina 29130
