We are privileged to serve those who desire our services during their time of need.  We take the safety and health of your family very seriously.  We always strive to exceed the expectations for every family and will continue to do so during these challenging days ahead. We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.

 It is with great sadness that Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sympathetically announce the passing of Mrs. Gertrude Washington, 91, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.

Mrs. Washington transitioned into eternity Thursday, June 9, 2022. 

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at New Hope AME Church, 141 New Hope Road, Winnsboro, South Carolina.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

A public walk-through viewing will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022, 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
