We are privileged to serve those who desire our services during their time of need.  We take the safety and health of your family very seriously.  We always strive to exceed the expectations for every family, and will continue to do so during these challenging days ahead. We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.
 

The passing of a loved one is a heart wrenching experience, it is with sadness that, the management (Eddie and Jackie Nelson) and the support staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sorrowfully announce passing of Mr. Governor Cunningham Jr. of Blythewood, South Carolina.
 

Mr. Cunningham Jr., earthly life journey ended Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at his residence.

Due to the family's need for privacy and closure, this service will be only for the immediate family members. The family appreciates every act of love and kindness you have shown to them during their time of bereavement; however, they are asking that you honor their request to have only the immediate family members in attendance at the funeral.   

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Round Top Baptist Church Blythewood, South Carolina.   Interment will follow in the church cemetery.   

A public walk-through viewing will be held Friday, August 26, 2022, 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 pm. 

Masks will be required to enter the funeral home.
