It is with profound sadness that the management (Eddie & Jackie Nelson) regretfully announce the passing of Mrs. Hester Able, 87, of Ridgeway, South Carolina.  Mrs. Able passed Friday, January 17, 2025.

A woman of remarkable kindness and grace, she will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the warmth she brought to every live she touched. Hester found immense joy in the beauty of nature, spending countless hours working in her yard and tending to her cherished flowers.

Hester also had a gift of connecting with people. She never met a stranger and loved meeting new friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Able will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Nelson's Funeral Home, 270 N Dogwood Ave., Ridgeway, SC 29130.   Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, 2815 Peach Road, Ridgeway, SC. 

Public viewing will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
