Nelson’s Funeral Home takes the safety and health of families very seriously.  Therefore, we will continue to implement the policy of mask requirements for all individuals entering our facility. Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff, and facility safe.

On behalf of the management (Eddie and Jackie Nelson) and the support staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home, it is with heartfelt sadness that we extend our sympathy and gratitude to the family of Mr. Kenith Evans, 54, of Winnsboro, South Carolina. We announce his transitioning out of time into eternity on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. 

Funeral services for Mr. Evans will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Weeping Mary Baptist Church, 7109 US-321 N., Winnsboro, SC 29180.   Interment will be in the church cemetery. 

Public viewing will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.    Masks will be required for entry into the funeral home.
