Little did we know, the day that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you; but you didn’t go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home”.
With mixed emotions and broken hearts, It is with sadness that the management Eddie and Jackie Nelson and the support staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home announce the passing of Mr. Kenneth Wood, 71, of Lugoff, South Carolina. Mr. Wood departed this earthly life into eternity Sunday morning August 27, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving and caring family.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023, 12:00 noon at Nelson's Funeral Home Chapel, 270 N. Dogwood Ave. Ridgeway, South Carolina. Interment will follow in Sutton Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, 420 Sutton Branch Road, Lugoff, South Carolina.
The family will receive friends one hour prior (11:00 a.m.) to the service at the funeral home.
