We are privileged to serve those who desire our services during their time of need.  We take the safety and health of your family very seriously.  We always strive to exceed the expectations for every family, and will continue to do so during these challenging days ahead. We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.

With a broken heart, the management Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sympathetically announce the passing of Mr. Leonardo Roberts 48, of Elgin, South Carolina. 

Mr. Roberts passed Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Providence Hospital Columbia, South Carolina (Downtown Campus).  
 

While the family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risk to the family, church members, friends and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to the disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. 

The family of Mr. Leonardo Roberts, in consideration to the health facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to have a private service and private interment  for their loved one, September 8, 2020, 12:00 noon.

Public viewing (Walk Thru Only), will be held Monday, September 7, 2020, 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. (Only), at Nelson’s Funeral Home 270 N. Dogwood Ave Ridgeway, South Carolina 29130. Nelson's Funeral Home Staff  will administer temperature checks.
