It is with sadness that the management Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the support staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home regretfully announce the passing of Mr. Marshall William Walker, 50, of Blythewood, South Carolina.  

Marshall W. Walker passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, October 19 2024.  He was born June 22, 1974 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

He lived with his parents in Layton, Utah until he finished High School at Layton High. He then attended ITT Tech and received a Bachelor of Electronics Science Degree.   He then moved to Illinois to work for Motorola and he soon met his loving wife of twenty-five years, Susan Jacobson and married her June 08,1999.  Their jobs were moved out of the country so they decided to move to South Carolina. Marshall decided to continue his education and took courses and graduated with a Master Decree in Computers at Strayer University.

They both got jobs with the Bose company in Blythewood, South Carolina.  Unfortunately, the Bose company moved out of state.  At the time of his passing, he was employed with Flex company.   

He is survived by his wife, Susan Walker; his father, William Walker and Jan; and his brother, Matthew Walker  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie (Munk) Walker and his brother, Marcus J. Walker.  

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 1391 Centerville Road, Ridgeway, SC 29130.
