The management (Eddie & Jackie Nelson) and the support staff of Nelson's Funeral Home of Ridgeway announce the passing of Ms. Mary L. Thompson, 74, of Winnsboro, South Carolina. Mrs. Thompson passed Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Mary was a woman whose warmth, joy, and love touched everyone who knew her. Mary's greatest joy in life was her family, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally.

She filled her home with laughter, the irresistible aroma of home-cooked meals, and the sound of music as she danced her way through life. Her laughter was infectious. Mary embraced life with a fullness that inspired everyone around her.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Zion Pilgram Baptist Church, 505 W. Moultrie Street, Winnsboro, South Carolina.  Interment will follow in Ross Memorial Cemetery Winnsboro, South Carolina.
