The management (Eddie & Jackie Nelson). regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Mattie L. Boyd, 88, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.  Mrs. Boyd passed Sunday, January 12, 2024.

Mrs. Boyd passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted woman of faith, Mrs. Boyd's life was a beautiful testament to her love for the Lord, her church and the family she cherished so deeply.

Born and reared in Winnsboro, South Carolina. She loved her church where her unwavering faith and generosity touched the lives of countless friends and neighbors. Her fondness for elegant hats was as well-known as her warmth and grace, often making her presence unmistakable and unforgettable at church services and community events.

She was the proud matriarch of a legacy that spanned generations, including her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She poured her love into each one of them. celebrating their milestones and offering words of encouragement,

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 20, 2025, 12:00 Noon at Bible Light Holiness Church, 9509 SC-34 E. Ridgeway.  Interment will follow in Bible Light Holiness Church #2 Cemetery, 5011 Landis Road, Winnsboro.   

A public viewing will be held Sunday, January 19, 2025, 6:00 p.m.  until 7:00 p.m.
