We are privileged to serve the those who desire our services during their time of need.  We take the safety and health of your family very seriously.  We always strive to exceed the expectations for every family, and will continue to do so during these challenging days ahead. We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.  

ATTENDANCE AT A FUNERAL OR ANY OTHER GATHERING IS A PRIVATE DECISION THAT INVOLVES A PERSONAL RISK. 

It is with deepest sympathy that Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sadly announce the passing of Mr. Michael Theodore Mozie, Sr., 52, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.  

Mr. Mozie transitioned into eternity Saturday, May 2, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. 

The family of Mr. Michael T. Mozie, Sr. in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, will not be receiving friends at their residence.  

While the family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risk to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to the disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. 

What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 8, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery, 33 Anderson Quarry Road, Winnsboro, South Carolina. 

Public viewing will be held Thursday, May 7, 2020, 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. (ONLY).
