The management (Eddie& Jackie Nelson) and the support staff of Nelson's Funeral Home announce the passing of Mrs. Minnie Holloway, 90, of Ridgeway, South Carolina. Mrs. Minnie Holloway passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, surrounded by the warmth and love of her devoted family.

Born and raised in South Carolina, Minnie dedicated her life to nurturing minds and hearts as a passionate early childhood educator. Her classroom was more than a place of learning—it was a haven of encouragement, curiosity, and care. She believed deeply in the power of education to transform lives and carried that belief with grace throughout her career.

Minnie found joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life. She was an accomplished seamstress whose hands stitched love into every fabric. Her shelves were lined with books that fed her ever-curious mind, and she had a knack for home improvements that turned every space she touched into something brighter and more welcoming.

Minnie’s legacy is one of kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering dedication to family and community, and the countless lives she enriched. 

She is survived by her loving family, who will carry forward her memory with pride and affection. 

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025, 12:00 noon at Nelson's Funeral Home Chapel, 270 North Dogwood Ave., Ridgeway, South Carolina.  Interment will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, South Carolina.
