The Management (Eddie & Jackie Nelson) and the support staff of Nelson's Funeral Home announce the passing of Mrs. Nancy Briggs, 80, of Ridgeway. Mrs. Briggs passed Wednesday, March 12, 2025. 

She was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She never met a stranger, always welcoming everyone with warmth, kindness, and an open heart. Her love for people was evident in everything she did.

She had a passion for cooking, finding joy in bringing people together over a good meal.  Mrs. Briggs loved her family; they were the center of her world. 

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025, 1:30 p.m. at Nelson's Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. 

All public viewing will take place during the funeral service.
