We are privileged to serve those who desire our services during their time of need.  We take the safety and health of your family very seriously.  We always strive to exceed the expectations for every family, and will continue to do so during these challenging days ahead. We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.

It is with sympathy that we the management Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home announce the passing of Mrs. Patricia P. Haney 66, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.

Mrs. Haney transitioned into eternity to be with the Lord Thursday, April 21, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. 

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Haney will be held Friday, April 29, 2022, 4:00 p.m. at Nelson's Funeral Home, 270 N. Dogwood Ave., Ridgeway, SC 29130.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at 3:00 p.m.    Face coverings are required for entry.

Patricia Haney was born October 5, 1955 in Winnsboro, SC to the late Jay and Joan Brazell Peake and she passed peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on April 21, 2022. 

Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.   She enjoyed collecting eagles, porcelain dolls, and any time she got to spend with family and friends. 

She held several jobs starting at age 14.   She worked at The Mill, Charm, Standard Products, and she was a Produce Manager at Winn-Dixie and Reids from where she retired. 

Patricia is survived by one daughter, Windy Haney (Keith) Green; one son, Troy Haney, Jr. both of Winnsboro, SC; five grandchildren, Staci (Matthew) Jordan, Austin Haney of Hellerstown, PA, Shaelyn Green and Skylar Green both of Winnsboro, SC, Zaylee Haney of Fort Mill, SC; two sisters, Gloria (Jimmy) Parker and Elizabeth Moon of Lugoff, SC; one brother, Limon Peake (Rock) of Winnsboro, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery S. Haney; siblings, Jay and Carrie Bell Peake, Hubert and Rosa Brazell, and Donald Brown; one brother-in-law, Gerald Moon, Sr.
