We are privileged to serve those who desire our services during their time of need.  We take the safety and health of your family very seriously.  We always strive to exceed the expectations for every family, and will continue to do so during these challenging days ahead. We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.

The management Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sympathetically announce the passing of Mr. Preston  E. Thompson Sr., 73, of Irmo, South Carolina.   

Mr. Thompson entered into eternity Monday, November 15, 2021 at Lexington Medical Center.    

Funeral services for Mr. Thompson will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021, 2:30 p.m. at Rhema Christian Center.  2601 Seminole Road, Columbia, SC 29210.   Interment will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery in White Rock, SC.  

A public walk through viewing will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.   Masks are required and temperatures will be checked by the staff.
