On behalf of the management (Eddie and Jackie Nelson) and the support staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home, we sadly announce the passing of Mr. Reuben H. Johnson, 83, of Columbia, South Carolina.  Mr. Johnson transitioned into eternity Saturday, January 17, 2026. 

The family will receive friends at 336 Opal Lane, Lugoff, South Carolina 29078 on Tuesday- Thursday 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be held Friday, January 23, 2026, 12:00 noon at St. Matthews First Baptist Church, 2853 Estes Lane, Winnsboro, SC 29180.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. 

Public viewing will be held at the funeral home Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
