We, the management (Eddie & Jackie Nelson) and the support staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home announce the passing of Mrs. Rita Kennedy, 69, of Columbia, South Carolina.  Mrs. Kennedy departed her earthly life Friday, September 15, 2023.

Funeral services for Mrs. Kennedy will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, 12:00 Noon at St. Mark Baptist Church, HWY 34, Ridgeway, SC 29130.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.   Public viewing will be held, Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
