We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.

It is with deep regret that Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home announce the passing of Mr. Robert Shannon Cunningham, Sr. (AKA Shank), 87, of Columbia, South Carolina.   

Mr. Cunningham transitioned into eternity Thursday, April 22, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. 

Mr. Cunningham is the husband of Mrs. Dorothy (Dot) Bell Cunningham.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021, 12:00 noon at the portico of Nelson's Funeral Home, 270 N. Dogwood Ave., Ridgeway, South Carolina. 

Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Ridgeway, South Carolina.   

A public walk thru viewing will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021, 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. only.
