Nelson’s Funeral Home takes the safety and health of families very seriously.  Therefore, we will continue to implement the policy of mask requirements for all individuals entering our facility. Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff, and facility safe.

On behalf of the management (Eddie and Jackie Nelson) and the support staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home, it is with profound sadness that we extend our sympathy and gratitude to the family of Mr. Robert Washington, 99, of Winnsboro, South Carolina. We announce his transitioning out of time into eternity on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

Funeral services for Mr. Washington will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at New Hope A.M.E. Church, 141 New Hope Road, Winnsboro, SC 29180.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

A public walk thru viewing will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023, 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. only.  Masks will be required to enter the funeral home.
