Subject: COVID-19 Safety Plan- Putting Families First
We are privileged to serve those who desire our services during their time of need.  We take the safety and health of your family very seriously.  We always strive to exceed the expectations for every family, and will continue to do so during these challenging days ahead. We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.

 

When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room why cry for a soul set free?
 

The management (Eddie and Jackie Nelson) and the support staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sorrowfully announce the passing of Mr. Ronnie Clack, 74, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.
 

Mr. Clack's earthly life journey ended Saturday, August 27, 2022.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022, 4:00 p.m. at Washington Street Baptist Church, Winnsboro, South Carolina.  Interment will follow in Fairfield Memorial Cemetery, Smallstown Road, Winnsboro, South Carolina.   

Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.

Ronnie Hugh Clack was born on January 5, 1948 in Chester, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Amanda Beatrice Huntington Clack and William Whugray Clack. He was the husband of the late Marion Elizabeth Clack.

Mr. Clack was a member of Washington Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, football, baseball and watching western movies. He was affectionately known to his family as “Papa Roni.”

He is survived by his two sons, Randy Clack (Jodi) and Ken Clack (Donna); two daughters, Shannon Woodard, and Kristy Truesdale; fourteen grandchildren, Jessica (Kyle), Randy Jr. (Jana), Logan (Jess), Breanna, CJ (Lindsey), Chelsea, Austin, Brandon, Rylan, and Nygel; and eight great-grandchildren, Analeigh, Norah, Eleanor, Collins, Vanessa, Carter, Hunter and Bella.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr.Clack was preceded in death  by two brothers, David Clack and Larry Clack; one sister,  Janice Paulette Clack Turpin, as well as three brothers-in-law.

The family of Mr. Clack acknowledges with deep appreciation the many kind and comforting expressions of sympathy shown to them.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Washington Street Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 462, Winnsboro, SC 29180. May God bless you!
