It is with deep regret that Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home announce the passing of Mrs. Tammy King 52, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.
Mrs. King transitioned into eternity Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Prisma Baptist Hospital Columbia, South Carolina. Mrs. King is the wife of Mr. Kenneth King.
Tammy Lynn King,52, was born on September 4, 1968 in Winnsboro, SC to Charles Branham and Carolyn Sanders. She transitioned to her heavenly resting place on May 11, 2021.
Tammy attended public schools in Fairfield County. A few years later she met the love of her life, Kenneth King, Jr. Together, Kenneth and Tammy owned and operated Kings Plumbing and Electrical for over 20 years.
Tammy had a deep love for her family. She took pride in making sure that everyone was taken care of and she always put the needs of others before her own. Tammy was a fighter and battled cancer for over five years, but she never let that get her down or stop her. She loved her grandchildren immensely and enjoyed spoiling and spending time with them.
Tammy leaves behind her loving husband of 28 years, Kenneth King Jr.; three sons, Michael Watts, Brandon Bartlett “Bre”, Kenny King, III (Michaela); one daughter, Jennifer Mattox; four grandchildren, Brenden Bartlett, Langston Watts, Jameson Bartlett, and Annalise King; father, Charles Branham (Beverly); mother, Carolyn Gattis; one brother, Charles Branham; four sisters, Angie Brocklebank (David), Stephanie Carey (Mikey), Jessica Collins (Cliff), and Danielle McKinney (Eathan) along with many beloved nieces, and nephews, and extended family.
