It is with sympathy that the management Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sympathetically announce the passing of Mrs. Valerie Harper 55, of Smithfield Virginia formerly Winnsboro, South Carolina.
Mrs. Harper transitioned into eternity Saturday, November 28, 2020.
Mrs. Harper is the wife of Rev. Gilbert Harper.
While the family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risk to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to the disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions.
In consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community the family of Mrs. Valerie Harper has decided to have a funeral service for their immediate family only.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, December 5, 2020, 1:00 p.m. at New Jerusalem Community Church, 1060 Syrup Mill Road, Ridgeway, South Carolina .
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
A public walk through (only) will be held Friday, December 4, 2020, 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Temperature checks will be administered by the staff of Nelson's Funeral Home.
