We are privileged to serve those who desire our services during their time of need.  We take the safety and health of your family very seriously.  We always strive to exceed the expectations for every family, and will continue to do so during these challenging days ahead. We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.

The loss of a loved one is a Heart wrenching experience. However, the management Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the support staff will  assist you through your valley of life experience.

We sympathetically announce the passing of Mrs. Viola D. Kennedy 93, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.   Mrs. Kennedy transitioned into eternity Saturday, January 8, 2022.

Viola Kennedy was born Annie Viola Davis on December 2, 1928 in Blair, South Carolina to the late Cleve and Annie Byrd Davis.  Her mother, Annie, died when Viola was one year old and her father, Cleve married Ruby Williams whom Viola knew as her mother.  Viola departed this life on Saturday, January 8, 2022. 

Homegoing services will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church, 207 Garden Street, Winnsboro, SC 29180.  The church will be following CDC COVID guidelines.  The doors of the church will be closed after reaching capacity based on social distancing.  Masks are required and temperature checks will be conducted upon entry to the church.  To accommodate these requirements, the church is requesting that everyone arrive no later than 12:45 pm.  For those unable to attend, the services will be live streamed.   To access the live streaming, stroll to the bottom of this obituary page and follow the instructions.

Interment will follow the services at Fairfield Memorial Cemetery, Smallstown Road, Winnsboro, SC.

At 3:00 p.m., the family welcomes the community for fellowship on the church grounds.

A public walk-through viewing will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.   Masks will be required and temperatures will be checked by the staff.
