We are privileged to serve those who desire our services during their time of need.  We take the safety and health of your family very seriously.  We always strive to exceed the expectations for every family, and will continue to do so during these challenging days ahead. We want to ensure you; we are taking extra precautions in our facility by sanitizing it daily. We need your help, COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and requiring our immediate attention and adjustments in the way we manage our services.  Please be considerate and help us as we try to keep our families, staff and facility safe.

It is with broken hearts and mixed emotions that Eddie & Jackie Nelson and the Support Staff of Nelson’s Funeral Home sadly announce the passing of Mrs. Wanda Sims Chappell, 57, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.   

Mrs. Chappell transitioned into eternity Wednesday, July 28, 2021.

The family requests that you respect their privacy during their hours of bereavement.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July  31, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Wayman Chapel Church, 301 South Garden Street, Winnsboro, South Carolina. CDC regulations on Social Distancing will be implemented by the church staff. Interment will follow in New Hope A.M.E  Church Cemetery, Winnsboro, South Carolina. 

A public walk through viewing will be held Friday, July 30, 2021, 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. only.
