The management Eddie and Jackie, Nelson, and the support staff of Nelson’s funeral home regretfully announce the passing of Mrs. Wanda Ferguson, 74, of Ridgeway South Carolina. Mrs. Ferguson passed Saturday, November 1, 2025. Arrangements are for coming.
Mrs. Wanda Jean Ferguson (McKittrick), 74, of Ridgeway, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Mrs. Ferguson was born on December 28, 1950, in Ypsilanti, Michigan and she was the beloved daughter of the late Hugh and Patsy Ferguson.
Wanda was a woman of quiet strength, whose kindness, humor, and creativity touched everyone knew her. She had a gift for making life’s simple moments special—whether through a deck of cards, a batch of her famous peanut brittle, or a handmade knitted piece crafted with love.
In keeping with Wanda’s wishes, there will be no funeral or celebration of life. The family encourages those who knew her to remember her in their own special way and hold close the laughter, love, and warmth she shared so freely.
She is survived by her children, Lee (Cindy) McKittrick, Lisa (James) Coleman, and Mary (David) McClung; her grandchildren, James (JD) Coleman, Dacia (John) Baird, Domanic (Kelsie) Coleman, Corey McKittrick, Alyssa (Tyler) Banker, Falicity McKittrick, Charyton McKittrick, and Curtis Smith (McKittrick); her great-grandchildren, Chloe McKittrick and Noah Baird; her siblings, Leo (Toni) Ferguson, Nancy Ferguson, and Timmy (Debbie) Ferguson, along with other loved ones, including Charles (Tabby) McKittrick.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Patsy Ferguson.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the many prayers, kind words, and support shown during this difficult time.
